Right after Thanksgiving I was in the mood to make another apple pie with left over apples. When I went to the store to get more pie crust I saw a bag of cranberries that looked excellent. I changed things up and made an Apple Cranberry Pie. If apple pie is a favorite than this pie is your next must try.
1/4 cup flour
2/3 cup sugar (organic sugar cane)
1/2 tsp cinnamon
dash nutmeg
mix with sliced apples and drain excess liquid
stir in cranberries
place in pie shell
randomly placed bits of butter in on top of mixture
cover with dough
put three slits at the top of the dough
pinch edges closed
place in over at 425 for 45 minutes
